Consumer Product Manager

You will be based out of Epson America’s headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.
What You Will Do
- Provide input into the development of product roadmaps for assigned product lines
- Coordinate with parent company in Japan to monitor product development and recommend actions to meet market needs
- Conduct and analyze market information and make product recommendations
- Contribute to achieving revenue and gross profit targets for assigned products
- Establish and support structured processes for complete product launches
- Partner closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service & Support, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams to manage products throughout their lifecycle
- Recommend product positioning and pricing strategies
- Provide recommendations for key advertising and promotional tactics
- Manage product lifecycle activities to minimize inventory and ensure timely launches
- Serve as an internal and external product spokesperson and champion
- Support company events, including sales meetings and trade shows
- Assist sales teams with customer visits and presentations
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with industry groups, analysts, and publications
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and global teams to achieve business objectives
- Manage and leverage vendor relationships to deliver best-in-class products and pricing
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across global teams
- Ability to balance technical product knowledge with business and financial acumen
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple priorities
- Effective communicator and influencer across all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel as needed
- 5–8 years of product management or related experience, preferably in consumer electronics, technology, or hardware-focused industries
- Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments; experience interacting with global or corporate headquarters teams is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle management, including roadmap planning, forecasting, and pricing strategy
- Familiarity with hardware product development processes; experience with integrated hardware/software solutions is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data, competitive insights, and financial metrics
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
