About the team
The Commercial Sustainability team's main focus is on ensuring long-term commercial viability and ecosystem health. They focus on strategic planning to maintain a healthy marketplace or monetization ecosystem, often work on policy design, guardrails, and incentives that drive sustainable growth for creators, sellers, or partners, balances short-term revenue goals with long-term ecosystem health
Responsibilities
- Possesses strong analytical capabilities, able to identify metric fluctuations and conduct accurate attribution analysis. Through data-driven insights, identifies key opportunities and determines effective strategies to drive metric improvement.
- Directly accountable for achieving platform key seller growth targets. Develops effective strategies to meet seller growth objectives by systematically breaking down high-level goals into actionable metrics and identifying the key levers for improvement. Understands which actions influence specific metrics and can assess which approaches are both effective and efficient.
- A strong collaborator who effectively drives strategic execution: demonstrates influence and credibility, capable of rallying partner teams to follow through on strategic initiatives and achieve shared objectives. Able to coordinate and manage complex projects, ensuring multiple work streams progress in parallel while delivering stable and meaningful outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a solid background in data analytics. Possesses strong analytical thinking and a deep understanding of data.
- Demonstrates strategic thinking, able to distill clarity from abstract concepts and make sound judgments from complex data, translating high-level strategies into structured, actionable execution plans.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of presenting high-impact projects to senior leadership preferred.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities; prior experience leading complex, cross-functional collaborations is highly desirable.
- Curious and driven, with a strong sense of ownership and perseverance.
- Willing to dive deep into complex topics and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills. Candidates with experience presenting high-stakes projects to senior leadership will be strongly preferred
- Background in advertising or e-commerce is a plus, with a good understanding of how platform ad revenue grows and basic knowledge of ad systems.
- Curious and eager to take on challenges. Willing to dive deep into complex topics and maintain long-term focus.
