- This job is a member of the Integrated Operations Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
- Responsible for performing analysis of audit and operational data to identify potential discrepancies with maintenance and inspection programs, performs risk and root cause analysis, interfaces with Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the identification of the root cause of system deficiencies in maintenance and inspection programs, and evaluates current processes and procedures for effectiveness. This job is also responsible for preparing reports related to safety for upper and senior management.
- Develops analytical tools focusing on systems that capture data needed to measure trends of operational, quality audits, investigations, and safety data
- Utilizes data modeling to design systems and views processes and data flows for systems analysis
- Analyzes processes and procedures that are prone to create erroneous data, and conduct testing to ensure that systems operate as expected
- Designs new systems and complex analytical queries to support the QA/CASS (Continuous Analysis Surveillance System) Analysis department
- Conducts analysis of operational data obtained through quality audits, investigations, and safety reviews to provide mitigation recommendations to management
- Creates and edits reports and analysis intended to highlight and resolve safety related issues throughout the corporation
- Determines root cause of system deficiencies of Maintenance and Inspection programs by interfacing with the operational, audit, and reliability departments
- Identifies and prioritizes system audits using risk assessment methods
- Reviews analysis results to determine risk associated with maintenance and inspection programs Conduct follow-up analysis to ensure compliance with and test the effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions

- Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Engineering, or aviation related field or equivalent experience in air carrier maintenance, quality assurance or operations
- 5 years experience with airline maintenance and the Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP)
- Experience in metrics, development of Dashboards and data analysis
- Knowledge of SQL to create and manipulate queries in Mosaic and Access database
- Leadership experience within Tech Ops
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to establish and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to self-manage time schedule
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with various levels of management
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, AA maintenance and operations programs, Company policies and safety procedures
- Knowledge of SQL to create and manipulate queries in Mosaic and Access database
- Excellent analytical skills
