New Edge Associates, a Talent Acquisition Firm, is partnering with a financial institution seeking a Project Manager to support enterprise-wide operational and technology-related initiatives. This role is responsible for managing projects from initial planning and vendor selection through implementation and completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are successfully met.
This opportunity is ideal for a professional with experience supporting operational, IT, software, or enterprise initiatives who thrives in a collaborative and detail-oriented setting. The ideal candidate will have strong project management or project administration experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Banking experience is not required. Job Requirements
- Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved
- Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, stakeholders, and executive sponsors throughout project lifecycles
- Support vendor selection processes, including RFP coordination, evaluations, and implementation activities
- Track project milestones, action items, budgets, and risk management activities
- Maintain detailed project documentation, status reports, meeting notes, and project plans
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements where applicable
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to support successful execution
- Assist with enterprise-wide operational and technology initiatives
- Support software, web technology, or systems-related projects as needed
- Prepare presentations, reports, and updates for leadership and project stakeholders
- Ensure projects remain organized, compliant with internal processes, and completed within expected timelines
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of project management or project administration experience required
- Experience managing projects involving vendors, timelines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Experience with project tracking, reporting, and documentation management
- Exposure to enterprise-wide operational or technology initiatives preferred
- Experience supporting IT, software, systems, or web-based projects preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- PMP or PRINCE II certification preferred
- Technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred
