We are currently seeking:
Buyer – Indirect Services position is responsible for procurement of indirect services. Core responsibilities include managing the sourcing process, supplier commercial relationships and overall supply base performance in the commercial, delivery, quality and technical areas
- Responsible for indirect services, particularly transportation and warehousing activities, but also facility services.
- Manage supplier commercial matters including piece price, supply agreements, payment terms, terms & conditions and cost reductions.
- Manage sourcing activities by conducting competitive bidding events with suppliers and recommending suppliers to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and execute commodity strategies that drive improved overall performance and competitiveness through the supply chain, with a focus on electric drive module (EDM) and sub-assembly components like the motor, PIM, and transmission.
- Responsible for tactical activities such as processing POs, supplier adds/changes, etc.
- Develop and motivate the supply base by rewarding high performance with new business opportunities to foster healthy relationships and the improvement or elimination of underperforming suppliers.
- Support data management process improvement activities (such as ERP/SRM/Portal), including master supplier data, supplier scorecard and spend analytics.
- Follow the JJENA Code of Ethics, abide by all relevant laws, regulations and company policies, and avoid any inappropriate behavior with suppliers, and support an open and fair environment.

Education
- Education: Bachelor and above
- Major: Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or related field
- Prior buying experience in manufacturing environment
- Language: advanced English oral and written skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiar with purchasing processes in the auto industry.
- Extensive knowledge and skills managing supplier commercial matters, negotiations, supplier quality, troubleshooting, standard legal terms, etc.
- Knowledge of eDrive materials and components is a plus.
- Proficient with PC and Office tools. Work Experience: 2+ years of purchasing experience in the auto industry

- Experienced in problem solving with a cross functional approach.
Physical Requirements:

Environmental Requirements
Our production facility is a climate-controlled environment. There is no long-term exposure to dangerously loud noise or extreme temperatures.

Attendance Requirements
All salaried team members are expected to perform their duties/responsibilities in a timely manner. Although they may not have set schedules, they are expected to either be at work on a schedule agreed upon by their manager or be available via phone/text/Teams if working remotely (authorized situations only).
