Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in retail construction, tenant improvement, and remodel programs that fit Horizon's core client criteria
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, brokers, and industry stakeholders
- Responsible for identifying tenant improvement opportunities, developing and maintaining long-term partnerships and representing Horizon Retail Construction with professionalism
- Lead sales efforts from initial prospecting through onboarding
- Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams to verify client requirements
- Represent Horizon Retail Construction at industry events and networking functions with sales team
- Track and report sales activity, pipeline development, and prospects
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within tenant improvement, and national rollouts to support Horizon's growth initiatives
- Support long-term account management and repeat client engagement strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communication, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills
- Great listening and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A highly motivated, self-starter
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
- Efficient and productive worker that can adjust to heavy workloads
- Takes initiative and is forward thinking
