Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage and support Active Directory, user accounts, group policies, and access controls.
Oversee virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and manage virtual machines.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
Manage storage, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including patching and vulnerability mitigation.
Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting tools.
Support cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
Handle incident management and service requests via ticketing systems.
Collaborate with network, security, and development teams for system improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support.
Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and system security.
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with vCenter, vSphere, or advanced virtualization tools.
Knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, or equivalent.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
