Accountant

We are currently looking to hire an Accounting Officer for our company in the Philippines and we would like to inquire about your recruitment services and candidate availability.

We are specifically searching for a candidate with previous experience in the Manning / Maritime industry, preferably someone who has handled accounting and payroll-related functions for crew or maritime operations.

Preferred Qualifications And Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting systems
• Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Experience using CrewInspector is an advantage
• Previous experience in a Manning / Maritime company is highly preferred
• Familiar with Philippine government mandatory contributions and compliance requirements such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounting and finance tasks and meet deadlines
• Stable employment history is preferred
• Good English communication skills

Main Responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and reconciliations
• Process payroll and government remittances
• Maintain and update crew-related data
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, maritime regulations, and Philippine government requirements
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required
