Our client, an American multinational retailer of footwear and sportswear, is seeking a Manager of Partner Marketing to join their basketball programs team!
Location: NYC - hybrid
About this role:
- Own full GTM development across basketball campaigns, key launches, and seasonal moments
- Build marketing plans that connect product storytelling to the game of basketball and its communities
- Lead platform thinking against key commercial priorities, ensuring integrated, differentiated across channels
- Ensure programs drive both cultural credibility and commercial performance
- Maintain a deep, authentic connection to basketball across all levels — NBA, grassroots, high
school, streetball, and community courts
- Build activations that connect directly to the game (events, community touchpoints, player
moments)
- Own and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
Experience:
- 3–5+ years of experience in sports marketing, basketball marketing, or brand marketing
- Deep, authentic connection to basketball — understanding of the game, culture, and community at all levels
- Proven ability to lead and execute complex marketing programs end-to-end
- Strong understanding of how to connect sport performance with cultural storytelling
- Experience working cross-functionally and with agencies
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and bias for action
