Job Summary:

The Project Management Officer is responsible for leading, coordinating, and monitoring end-to-end IT and banking system projects to ensure timely, efficient, and successful delivery. The role involves managing project scope, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication while ensuring alignment with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. The PMO is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to integrate quickly into complex project environments.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT and banking system projects from initiation to rollout.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Track project milestones and ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Audit).
  • Work closely with vendors, service providers, and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for senior management.
  • Manage risks, issues, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project implementation for systems such as:

- Deposit Systems

- Loan Systems

- General Ledger Systems

- Digital Channels (online/mobile banking)

- ATM Systems

- Card and Cash Management Systems

  • Promote continuous improvement and adopt modern project management practices.
  • Ensure that projects developed were implemented within the set deadlines


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Has eligibility such as CSC Professional, Honor Graduate or PRC License.
  • With at least 4 years of supervisory position.
  • Hands-on experience managing IT or banking system projects.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, internal controls, and system deployments.
  • Proficient in project methodologies and tools (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
