Overview
Our client in the financial services industry is seeking an HRIS Analyst to join its growing Human Capital team in New York. This role sits at the intersection of HR, compensation, and data analytics, supporting senior leadership with high-impact reporting and insights.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with executive leadership, delivering data-driven insights that influence firm-wide decisions.
Please note: This is a hybrid remote role – 3-4 days in office per week
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc HR reporting
- Extract, analyze, and validate data from Workday
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and executive presentations
- Support compensation cycles, including bonus and attrition analysis
- Build firm-wide reporting materials (including leadership and investor-facing summaries)
- Partner closely with HR, Compensation, and Finance teams
- Create polished presentations for senior leadership and executive audiences
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting outputs
- Contribute to building a best-in-class people analytics and reporting function
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in HRIS, People Analytics, or HR Analytics
- Strong experience with Workday reporting (required)
- Advanced Excel/data manipulation skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into insights and storytelling
- Experience creating executive-level presentations (PowerPoint/decks)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Preferred Background
- Experience in compensation consulting or analytical consulting environments
- Exposure to compensation, incentives, or equity programs
- Finance or business analytics background
- Familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., Macabacus)
- Interest in leveraging AI tools for analytics and productivity

Compensation
- Base salary: $120,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
