The company is building an AI-powered wealth management and investing platform for the next generation - bringing personalised, real-time investing infrastructure to 2M+ users. They are scaling rapidly and closing in on a defining moment in their growth.

They’re now hiring a Head of Engineering to own the entire technology vision and execution - architecting and scaling a modern, AI-powered FinTech platform from the ground up. This is a deeply hands-on leadership role, partnering directly with the founders on roadmap, owning core systems, data architecture, and real-time trading infrastructure, while building and mentoring a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale a modern AI-powered FinTech platform - owning end-to-end technology strategy
• Lead, build, and mentor a high-performing engineering team while remaining hands-on in the code
• Drive product velocity and establish best practices for code quality, testing, and releases
• Improve reliability and observability of real-time systems including trading, pricing, and portfolio updates
• Partner directly with the founders to define the product roadmap and bring the company’s vision to life

Requirements

• 4-10+ years of hands-on engineering leadership experience across mobile and backend
• Background in FinTech, trading, or payments in consumer-facing apps
• Experience in a zero-to-one or early scaling startup environment
• Experience leading or managing a team - technical lead, engineering manager, or VP of Engineering
• Architected real-time, event-driven, distributed systems
• Extensive experience with observability - monitoring, alerting, and incident response
