Now Hiring: Business Analyst (AI Team) – Contract to Hire | NYC (Hybrid)

James Search Group is partnering with a leading global P&C insurance carrier to hire a Business Analyst to support a cutting-edge AI function focused on developing next-generation models and agentic AI solutions.

This is a 2–4 year experience level role, ideal for someone looking to grow at the intersection of business, data, and AI engineering.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with AI engineers and data scientists to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Support development of AI/ML models and emerging agentic AI solutions
• Gather, document, and refine requirements, user stories, and workflows
• Assist in testing, validation, and continuous improvement of AI-driven products
• Work closely with stakeholders across business and technology

What we’re looking for:

• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst (ideally in data, analytics, or AI environments)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, data platforms, or analytics tools
• Agile/Scrum experience preferred
• P&C Insurance domain experience prefered

Location: Hybrid – Manhattan, NYC

Structure: 6-month contract → potential full-time conversion

Hourly Rate

$50 – $60 per hour, depending on experience
