Adore Me, a subsidiary of Victoria’s Secret & Co. (NYSE: VSCO) since being acquired in December 2022, is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to support our growing New York City team. This role will partner closely with employees and managers across the business, delivering exceptional HR support across the full employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, people-centric, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and best practices
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, and HRIS data integrity
  • Support recruitment efforts, including posting, sourcing, interview coordination, offer processing, and new hire onboarding
  • Be the point person for all HR related employee questions
  • Assist with performance management processes, employee development initiatives, and engagement programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong focus on New York labor regulations
  • Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and resolution support, leaning into all client groups including corporate, retail, and warehouse
  • Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports and analytics as needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and employee experience
  • Other responsibilities as needed


Qualifications for the Position


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, particularly in New York
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to work on-site at our office in Tribeca on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
