COMPANY BACKGROUND
EMCO Chemical Distributors is one of the largest independent chemical distributors in North America. Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, EMCO distributes, blends, and packages more than 5,000 SKUs to over 4,000 customers across diverse end markets, including industrial manufacturing, plastics, lubricants, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
With more than 500 employees, EMCO operates distribution and packaging facilities, an application laboratory, an environmental services facility, and a dedicated delivery fleet enabling just-in-time distribution. In December 2025, EMCO partnered with Lindsay Goldberg, a leading private equity firm focused on industrials, services, and healthcare, to support the Company's next chapter of growth.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of FP&A will serve as a strategic finance partner to the executive leadership team. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role focused on three of EMCO's most important value-creation priorities: (1) leading planning, forecasting, cash flow, and management reporting that drive day-to-day decision-making; (2) deploying and scaling — in close partnership with IT — a modern financial reporting / EPM software platform that also serves as the backbone for integrating add-on acquisitions and tracking synergy capture; and (3) driving rigorous cost and margin analytics across EMCO's blending, packaging, and distribution operations.
WHY THIS ROLE
This is not a maintenance role. The Director of FP&A will own the deployment of EMCO's financial reporting platform, drive the reporting and analytics that shape commercial and operational decisions, and work directly with the CFO and PE sponsor shaping the future of the business.
