Location: Dallas, TX (On-site Mon–Th; Remote Fridays)
Travel: 10–20% (tradeshows, industry events)
A rapidly growing, Dallas-based healthcare organization is seeking a Marketing Director to help scale and formalize its marketing function. The company operates within the specialty pharmacy and healthcare ecosystem, delivering high-touch patient services supported by advanced technology platforms. Position Overview
This role will serve as a strategic and operational leader, responsible for building structure, processes, and scalability across the marketing function. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director will oversee day-to-day execution while helping introduce more sophisticated campaign strategy, tools, and workflows. Ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth, ambiguous environments and enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Infrastructure
- Build and scale marketing processes, workflows, and project management systems
- Lead prioritization and traffic management across multiple initiatives
- Implement tools (e.g., Monday.com or similar) to increase efficiency and visibility
Campaigns & Execution
- Support development of integrated marketing campaigns across B2B and B2C channels
- Introduce and optimize digital and targeted marketing strategies
- Support expansion into new business lines (e.g., oncology, payer programs, 340B initiatives)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, pharma partners, and payer stakeholders
- Support RFP/RFI processes and proposal development
- Ensure alignment between marketing, business development, and leadership teams
Communications & Brand
- Oversee internal communications (events, newsletters, employee engagement)
- Manage external communications including PR, press releases, and brand positioning
- Support reputation management and social presence
Events & Field Marketing
- Support tradeshow strategy, execution, and follow-up
- Represent the organization in client-facing and industry settings
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare marketing experience required
- Preference for specialty pharmacy, pharma, payer, or 340B experience
- Strong project/workflow leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Agency or high-volume marketing experience preferred
