🚀 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior VMware Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support a large-scale virtualized enterprise environment. Based in Frankfurt, Germany, this hybrid role focuses on day-to-day VMware operations while playing a key role in ongoing transformation initiatives, including migrations to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance in a mission-critical environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support a large VMware ecosystem with ~250 ESXi hosts and 5,000+ virtual machines
• Handle daily operational tasks including monitoring, performance optimization, and incident resolution
• Troubleshoot existing PowerShell scripts and enhance automation capabilities where required
• Support and actively contribute to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) migration initiatives
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and cloud teams to ensure reliable service delivery
• Ensure compliance with operational best practices, documentation, and change management standards

🎯 What You Bring

• Strong hands-on experience managing large-scale VMware environments
• Solid expertise in VMware virtualization technologies and infrastructure operations
• Proven experience with PowerShell scripting, including troubleshooting and optimization
• Hands-on exposure to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.0 migrations
• Working knowledge of Cisco ACI
• German language proficiency
