Our client, a leading company in the Industrial Components sector, is currently looking for a:
Country Manager DACH
responsible for strengthening the company's presence among key accounts and consolidating commercial leadership within the DACH market. The role ensures operational discipline, maintains a robust pipeline, and provides full alignment with the global application strategy.
Areas of responsibility:
Country Manager DACH
- Hold administrative responsibility for the legal entity in Germany
- Represent the company within the DACH region
- Conduct client visits, drive new business development, and manage escalations
- Monitor competitors and market trends specific to Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Key Account Management
- Directly manage 4–6 strategic Industrial Key Accounts
- Develop C-level relationships, handle complex negotiations, and manage framework agreements and multi-year contracts
- Identify new cross-cluster and cross-country opportunities
- Ensure margins, product mix, and customer profitability are maintained
Ownership & Financial Performance
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, pricing discipline, and margin optimization
- Monitor "cost-to-serve" and overall customer profitability
- Coordinate with the COO and Business Units regarding investments and priorities
Matrix Collaboration & Governance
- Serve as the bridge between regional execution and global application strategy
- Participate in sales councils, cluster reviews, and roadmap discussions
- Manage conflicts between local requirements and global standards
Customer & Market Engagement
- Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and on advisory boards
- Analyze competitors, technological trends, and market dynamics
- Develop industrial partnerships and institutional relationships
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Head of Sales/Sales Director in B2B companies
- Experience in complex B2B industrial commercial roles, alongside direct management of global or regional Key Accounts
- Professional background in the Industrial, OEM, Components, Heating, or Automation Machinery sectors, or in related fields
- Significant experience within the DACH market
- Experience in management of international sales team
- Proven ability in commercial strategy and disciplined execution
- Proficiency in complex negotiations and global client management
- Strong orientation towards KPIs, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Fluent in German and English
