An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Trainer within the Health Boards Digital, Data & Technology Directorate, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB). The role will form part of the digital community programme, supporting the project team to deliver high quality digital training to staff across Mental Health and Learning Disabilities directorate.

Main duties of the job
This role will be part of Digital, Date and Technology department who are responsible for developing and implementing a new clinical system and enhancing current functionality.
As a trainer in Digital, Data and Technology you will be responsible for the delivery of training the new digital system and the ongoing support of users post go LIVE. You will be a member of a small team that is within the Business Change and Benefits team. You will play a proactive part in the support and implementation of new digital projects and be expected to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and all grades of ABUHB staff.
You will be a key player, bringing a flexible, positive and can do approach to the training of staff from a cross section of services including clinical and non clinical.
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders from varying professions across the health board, other NHS and 3rd party organisation/suppliers. This will include the requirement to attend sites regularly, sometimes at short notice. If you are looking for a new challenge in a prosperous department then this role is for you.

Qualifications And/or Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of specialised IT systems, IT qualification in relevant area to diploma level or equivalent level of experience, Evidence of continued professional development
- TAP training qualification, ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation
- Experience of delivering training, Experience of delivering training in a versatile environment, Experience of delivering training large groups of people, Experience in providing Floor walking support, Administrative experience, Experience of troubleshooting to aid in issue resolution, Exposure to problem solving, Experience of handling confidential data, Experience of handling complaints
- Experience delivering training as part of an IT project, Experience of delivery training on Digital Clinical systems, Experience of delivery training in a clinical environment, Experience of Mental Health systems
Essential criteria
- Able to establish trust and professional working relationships with staff, Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, E mail, PowerPoint and Teams, Excellent communication skills, Experience in using a range of techniques to communicate with staff at various levels, Able to work with staff at all levels, Ability to prioritise and manage own workloads to meet deadlines effectively, Able to work within guidelines and policies, Proven organisational skills, Able to work independently, Able to adapt quickly to changing situations
- Ability to learn new systems quickly, Service Point skills, Knowledge of SharePoint
- Ability to work at multiple sites and travel between sites in a timely manner
