Job Description
We are looking for an experienced professional to join the EvoEnzyme team and lead the financial justification of European and national R&D and innovation funding projects.
The selected candidate will work closely with the CEO, the Administration Department, and scientific teams to ensure the successful execution and compliance of publicly funded projects.
Main Responsibilities
• Management and monitoring of publicly funded projects and grants.
• Preparation and submission of financial reports for funding agencies.
• Coordination of project documentation and supporting evidence for audits and compliance reviews.
• Monitoring project milestones, eligible costs, and reporting deadlines.
• Collaboration with internal departments and external project partners.
• Support in the preparation of new funding proposals and applications.
• Liaison with national and European funding bodies.
• Organization and maintenance of project documentation and databases.
Mandatory Requirements
• University degree in Life Sciences, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the management and justification of public grants and funded projects.
• Experience with programs such as Horizon Europe, CDTI, ENISA, NEOTEC, PERTE, or Next Generation EU.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, deep tech, or innovation-driven companies.
• Experience in collaborative international projects.
• Knowledge of grant compliance procedures and audits.
• Experience working with project management and document management tools.
