Investment Analysis and M&A Specialist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Investment Analysis and M&A team provides strategic valuation support to OW Senior Management as well as leading the execution of acquisition and divestment processes of the Joint Venture. It ensures that OW projects comply with Shareholders Investment criteria and actively discusses and updates the discount rates and relevant Investment criteria. The Investment Analysis and M&A Specialist will support the team with special focus on financial modelling and analysis.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Build and maintain complex financial models to perform analysis under different scenarios to assess potential business opportunities for greenfield investment and M&A.
• Interact with internal teams to gather the relevant valuation assumptions for each project stage
• Plan and complete due diligence processes, namely in what it refers to the coordination of information flow and preparation of reports
• Support team members with Financial analysis to support the decision-making process regarding investments or divestments
• Support the negotiation process, creating presentations and proposals and attending to negotiation meetings whenever applicable

REQUIREMENTS

Education

University Degree in Engineering, Economics, BA or Finance

Professional experience

1-3 years of experience in financial modelling in the energy / infrastructure space at a developer, fund, bank or financial advisory firm (modelling or Project Finance department of a Big Four).
