Your Responsibilities
- Designing NAV-COM systems for superyachts
- Designing IT systems and intelligent control systems (Domotic) for superyachts
- Designing general ship electrical systems
- Conducting cross-disciplinary technical coordination with clients and system suppliers
- Selecting technical solutions and materials
- Preparing bill of materials (BOM)
- Preparing RFQs for system or component supply
- Verifying documentation of ordered systems and coordinating them with other yacht systems
- Preparing technical documentation, technical descriptions, and automation I/O lists
- Providing design supervision during yacht construction
- Participating in tests, trials, and technical inspections when required
- Preparing as-built documentation and user manuals
- Higher technical education (Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Marine Systems, or similar)
- Experience in an independent designer role for marine NAV-COM and other ship electrical systems
- Knowledge of marine navigation and communication equipment and other ship electrical systems
- Knowledge of PLC/HMI-based control systems
- Experience in selecting components for NAV-COM and other ship electrical systems
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, and MS Office
- Good command of English
