About The Role
As a CBRE ProjectManagement Sr. Manager, you’ll manage a team responsible for providing advancedmanagement services to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
This job is part of the Project Management function. Theyare responsible for the management of projects from initiation throughcompletion.
What You’ll Do
- Provide formalsupervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff.Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiringof new employees.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities.Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and trackstaff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
- Oversee all phases of project management includingprocurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution.
- Ensure thatcontract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout areaccurate, timely, and compliant.
- Monitor billing, accounts receivable collection, expensemonitoring and control, staffing, and full P&L to EBITDA.
- Workcross-functionally with other business lines to achieve the company's strategicbusiness objectives.
- Identify complexproject risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans
- Apply a broad knowledge of the business, owndiscipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team anddepartmental objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of viewwhile being guided by policies and departmental plans.
- Identify and solve technical and operational problems ofcomplexity.
- Understand and recognize the broader impact across thedepartment.
- Improve and change existing methods, processes, andstandards within the job discipline.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevantexperience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education willbe considered. LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training,development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewardingperformance and retention is preferred.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated,and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broadoperational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple jobdisciplines, and department.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Extensive organizational skills and an advancedinquisitive mindset.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculatecomplicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-relatedcalculations
