Our Opto-Electronics Team headquartered in Fremont, CA is looking for an Associate Product Line Manager to join our Optical Solutions business unit.
The Associate New Product Development Manager will work with a Product Line Manager to support a robust portfolio of Optical Transceivers. The Associate Product Manager will contribute to overall product portfolio which will include: tracking capacity, demand planning and forecasting, help drive product releases and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing,
What You Will Do
- Contribute to pipeline growth, customer wins, and releases by supporting opportunity qualification and go-to-market activities.
- Assist in tracking capacity and support capital-investment planning to meet forecasted demand.
- Support competitive landscape tracking and help inform the technology roadmap.
- Assist in leading development projects, ensuring milestones are met on time and on budget under the guidance of senior project leads.
- Support creation of marketing collateral and launch activities to promote new technologies and increase market penetration.
- Help drive internal product releases and coordinate with marketing communications on launch strategies.
- Develop product and solution requirements based on customer feedback, competitive analysis, and company capabilities.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and drive product positioning.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Materials, Physics or related technical discipline
- At least two years of product management, applications engineering or technical product roles looking to move to the business
- Both technical engineering and business acumen
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret technical data, excellent communication (technical and non-technical)
- Ability to travel 25% globally
- Fiber optic product knowledge
- Data Center/Networking product familiarity
- Collaboration with Sales/Manufacturing
- Masters degree
