About You

You will understand integrated campaigns and the marketing mix. You will have experience in developing, creating and deploying marketing campaigns in line with a campaign’s creative direction and vision.

You will be up to date with the latest trends and best practices, with a special focus on the youth and student audience – with the ability to adapt quickly to what is an ever-evolving audience.

You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects, and clients. Most importantly, you bring energy, fresh ideas, solutions to problems, and are able to spot angles to help build relationships with existing and potential clients.

The Role

This will be a hands-on role working across a range of clients. It will be predominantly office based within the Raptor client services account team but will also involve field work such as on campus events, live events, shoots and roadshows. You will be expected to manage a team of 2 (with potential for more) Account Executives and bridge the gap between client and agency, ensuring campaigns are planned and delivered to a high specification and ensuring account growth. You will work closely with the Directors to ensure the project is planned and delivered to a high specification whilst also spotting areas of potential account growth

You will report directly to agency Directors and will be a key component in driving the agency forward via excellent account management skills.

Supporting, and in some cases leading client accounts within the agency, taking responsibility for the client / agency relationship.

You will be required to work, both from home and in an office-based environment but also during busy live-event times, managing workloads effectively and accurately during these periods.

Ensuring the profitability and growth of incumbent client accounts.

Managing the work, performance (based on agreed job role/spec) and professional development of more junior members – ensuring directors are aware of areas of improvement and success shown by Raptor team.

Supporting your Line Manager to develop and implement account growth opportunities

As with the above, supporting on responding to pitch opportunities and briefs through research, brainstorms and proposal writing.

Presenting to clients will also be an integral part of the role from pitches (following on from support role above) and proactive proposals to weekly/monthly reports and campaign evaluations.

Working with you Line Manager to ensure they are able to accurately track campaign spend, reconcile budgets, bill clients and request payments in timely manner

Communicating content from client activity for internal marketing requirements and showcasing the unique approach and skillset that Raptor offers.

Experience

Minimum of 2 year’s agency experience preferably with an experiential or event-based agency

working with consumer clients.

Ideally some experience working with youth brands.

Experience managing and developing at least one person to ensure they achieve personal and

co. goals.

Experience in managing clients directly whilst working across multiple client accounts and

brands.

Understanding of the student industry and student lifestyle.

Experience within a promotional staffing function including briefing, managing and reporting.Experience managing social media within a client campaign and working with other agenciesUnderstanding of linking digital and physical to benefit campaigns.

their thoughts. They use creative and technically sound writing to produce powerful and effective communications.

Socially Savvy – a strong understanding of social media and the latest trends.

Positivity – Bring positive energy to Raptor that is encouraging and uplifting to the team, clients and suppliers.

Confidence – put in the extra time needed to gain knowledge and experience. Are happy to offer their thoughts and speak up / out to communicate their views.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 pro rata, depending on experience
