What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll partner closely with Project Managers, Project Administrators, and Field Teams to support the successful planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects.

  • Assist with estimating efforts during preconstruction and throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support development and maintenance of project schedules, including updates and revisions
  • Read, understand, and adhere to owner contracts
  • Help manage project budgets, plans, specifications, and schedules using Procore
  • Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and completeness
  • Process and track RFIs, ensuring timely input and distribution through Procore
  • In the absence of a Project Administrator:
    • Assist with subcontract and purchase order preparation, distribution, and tracking
    • Coordinate with Accounting to verify insurance coverage and licensing requirements
  • Attend project meetings and prepare/distribute meeting minutes
  • Create and track project documentation including Notices to Comply, Safety Notices, Field Work Directives, and Events impacting cost, schedule, or safety
  • Support the preparation and submission of Owner pay applications and subcontractor payment requests; escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with negotiating changes to contracts and managing project documentation related to changes, including:
    • PCOs, CORs, PCCOs, CCAs, ACAs, DPOs
    • Bonds, submittals, RFIs, and warranties
  • Code invoices and submit per Accounting procedures
  • Assist with punch list development and project closeout activities
  • Help ensure projects are closed out within 30 days of substantial completion and final inspection (including financial closeout)
  • Maintain strong client communication and support overall client satisfaction
  • Promote and uphold project safety and quality standards
What You Need to Bring

Required

  • 3+ years of relevant construction experience
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Strong working knowledge of construction documentation and project coordination
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of related construction experience
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience supporting financial tracking, change management, and project closeout processes

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and stand for up to 4 hours at a time
  • Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods
  • Ability to navigate active construction sites, including uneven terrain and confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 15 pounds regularly
  • Full hand dexterity for repetitive tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
