About Blink Design Studio

Blink Design Studio LLC is the U.S. operating affiliate of the Blink Group, an integrated international enterprise that designs, fabricates, and installs custom exhibition booths, trade show displays, and branded commercial environments for corporate clients across multiple industries — pet, animal nutrition, tourism, financial services, agency, and others. Operating from our Kissimmee, Florida headquarters with multi-million-dollar capital assets and an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) permit at major U.S. convention venues.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to support the U.S. Petitioner’s commercial growth and serve as a primary point of contact for U.S. corporate accounts. Reporting to the Sales Coordinator, the Account Executive will own the day-to-day relationship with assigned client accounts, coordinate proposal development with our Colombia-based commercial team, manage the sales cycle from qualification through closing, and support the Sales Coordinator on strategic accounts. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines commercial acumen with the operational rigor required to deliver complex, multi-stakeholder trade show projects on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for an assigned book of U.S. mid-market accounts — from lead qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closing — under the direction of the Sales Coordinator.

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with marketing managers, event managers, brand managers, and procurement leads at U.S. corporate clients and creative agencies.

• Coordinate proposal development with the Foreign Entity’s commercial team in Bogotá, Colombia (including the Sales Coordinator and Account Management staff at Olave Blink Studio S.A.S.) to deliver custom design, engineering, and graphic concepts within client timelines.

• Manage client communications throughout the sales cycle, ensuring consistent updates, timely responses, and clean handoffs to the U.S. project management team upon contract signing.

• Support the Sales Coordinator on strategic-account opportunities, including preparation of pricing analyses, scope documents, and executive-level proposals.

• Maintain accurate and timely records in the company’s CRM (Odoo), including pipeline status, deal probability, expected close dates, and account activity history.

• Represent the U.S. Petitioner on-site at assigned U.S. trade shows and industry events under the company’s Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) permit, conducting client meetings and supporting on-site project execution.

• Collaborate with the U.S. Director of Project Management and Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth execution of sold projects and to surface client concerns early.

• Track market intelligence — competitor activity, industry trends, RFP cycles, key shows, target client moves — and contribute insights to the Sales Coordinator and General Manager.

• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets agreed with the Sales Coordinator and approved by the Executive Committee.

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, hospitality, industrial design, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).

• At least 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or client services — ideally in trade show, exhibit, events, agency, or related project-based industries.

• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a quota-carrying role.

• Excellent written and spoken English; professional working proficiency in Spanish is required to coordinate effectively with the Foreign Entity’s commercial team in Colombia.

• Strong written communication, proposal-drafting, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency with CRM systems (Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and standard office productivity tools (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace).

• Authorization to work in the United States. The company does not sponsor work authorization for this role.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience in trade show fabrication, exhibit design, custom build, experiential marketing, or event production.

• Existing professional network among U.S. corporate marketing, brand, or events teams.

• Familiarity with U.S. convention venue logistics (Las Vegas, Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago, New York), general contractor coordination (Freeman, GES), and EAC permitting.

• Experience selling cross-border services or working in a multinational organization.

• Comfort with technical specifications (booth dimensions, AV/LED inventory, beMatrix systems, electrical and rigging requirements).

Compensation and benefits

Base salary

USD $50,000–$65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, payable on the company’s standard payroll cycle.

Performance commission

Performance-based commission program payable quarterly in arrears on revenue from accounts personally owned and closed by the Account Executive. Commission targets and rates are established by the Sales Coordinator and reviewed by the Executive Committee at the start of each fiscal year. Annual on-target commission earnings are typically equivalent to 10–20 % of base salary, with no upper cap on outperformance.

Retirement

Eligibility to participate in the company’s 401(k) plan upon hire. The company offers a 401(k) employer match beginning after six (6) months of continuous full-time employment, on terms set forth in the plan document.

Paid time off

Paid time off and paid U.S. federal holidays per company policy.

Work model

Hybrid: mix of in-office work at the Kissimmee, Florida headquarters and remote work, with on-site presence required for client meetings, project handoffs, and major U.S. trade shows. Specific schedule to be agreed with the Sales Coordinator.

Employment status

Full-time, exempt W-2 employee. Employment is at-will under Florida law and may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, subject to applicable law.
