Program Troop Manager

The Program Troop Manager will be responsible for delivering the Girl Scout Program to underserved populations in community-based troops. As part of collaborative team of professionals, they will maintain responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with community partners, while successfully striving to transition troops from staff-led to volunteer-led at these locations. This position requires a flexible schedule that includes day, evening, and weekends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Girl Scout programming that inspires girls and supports their leadership development.
Recruit participants and coordinate 1–2 daily meeting locations to meet program and grant goals.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while fostering a positive, patient, and youth-centered experience.
Maintain accurate membership records, reports, and data entry in a timely manner.
Coordinate program supplies and logistics to ensure successful meetings.
Communicate regularly with the ETSM regarding progress, successes, and challenges.
Support and maintain community partner relationships.
Ensure compliance with Girl Scouts of Citrus and GSUSA policies, safety standards, and program guidelines.
Education and Experience:
High School or GED.
A minimum of two years of experience working with children and adolescents.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Power Point, Word, and Excel.
Experience In a Non-profit Organization Is Preferred.
Willingness and ability to work regular and varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
Commitment to working with shared leadership utilizing interpersonal and judgment skills.
Ability to work independently, while demonstrating a strong ability to work as a team.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license, use of a personal vehicle and proof of current vehicle insurance.
Ability to successfully pass level 2 background screening.
Register annually for a GSUSA membership and have a favorable criminal background check.
Salesforce And Looker Experience Is Preferred.
Preferred:
1+ year of previous experience in Girl Scouting
Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) preferred

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds at times.
Speaking to large groups for extended periods.
