Who we are

Innovated Studios is a creative leader in Themed Entertainment, specializing in Project Management, Research & Development, and Creative Design and Fabrication. Collaborating closely with clients, we deliver exceptional results across all phases, including concept development, design, fabrication, deployment, and commissioning. Our portfolio features work with some of the world’s premier and newest theme parks, reflecting our commitment to quality and show excellence. We strive to craft extraordinary guest experiences that bring visions to life.

Who you are

You build what needs building. You have shipped something real, maybe solo, maybe at a company no one has heard of. You understand product ecosystems, not just code. You can talk to customers without breaking into hives. You do not need permission to fix things, you just fix them. You are comfortable moving between game engine code, backend services, real time networking, and the messy realities of physical installs

What you will do

  • Build interactive experiences using modern game engines, focusing on tight feedback loops, performance, and stability
  • Implement gameplay systems, state machines, UI flows, and content tooling that designers can actually use
  • Integrate real world inputs and outputs, sensors, controllers, lighting, audio, video playback, show control, kiosks, and custom devices
  • Design and ship real time networking, multiplayer or multi screen sync, low latency messaging, WebSockets, UDP, WebRTC, or engine native transport
  • Build pipeline glue between engine clients and cloud services, APIs, databases, auth, telemetry, and content delivery
  • Profile and optimize performance, frame time, memory, asset loading, hitches, shader bottlenecks, CPU versus GPU tradeoffs
  • Own the full lifecycle, prototype fast, harden for production, support deployments, improve reliability through logging and observability
  • Collaborate directly with creative, production, clients, and on site teams, translate vague ideas into shippable systems

Must have experience

  • Strong experience in at least one major game engine, Unreal, Unity with shipped work to prove it
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, architecture, debugging, testing mindset, clean APIs
  • Real time performance instincts, profiling tools, optimization, asset and memory awareness
  • Experience with networking and synchronization concepts, authoritative state, prediction, latency handling, event driven systems
  • Comfort working across a stack, engine client plus backend services, build pipelines, tooling, and deployment
  • Practical experience shipping to production environments, on site installs, trade shows, live events, or consumer releases

Bonus points, depending on the project

  • Unreal, C++, Blueprints, GAS, Sequencer, nDisplay, pixel streaming, custom rendering or plugins
  • Unity, C#, DOTS, Addressables, URP or HDRP, timeline, custom editor tooling
  • Web based interactive layers, TypeScript, React, Next.js, WebGL, WebGPU, three.js
  • Media systems, video playback, streaming, RTSP, WebRTC, FFmpeg, MediaMTX, GStreamer, low latency pipelines
  • Hardware integration, serial, TCP, UDP, RS 485, GPIO, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLCs, DMX, Art Net, MIDI, OSC
  • Computer vision or AI features in interactive contexts, GPU workloads, CUDA environments, model serving, batching, memory management, throughput tuning, these are required when the project calls for them
  • Cloud and distributed systems, serverless functions, Azure, queues, Service Bus, event driven architectures
  • Observability in real time systems, structured logging, metrics, tracing, crash reporting, replayable diagnostics

Typical tech stack you may touch

  • Game engines, Unreal, Unity, Godot
  • Client side, C++, C#, TypeScript, engine scripting, shaders
  • Web, TypeScript, React, Next.js
  • Backend, Node.js, serverless functions, APIs
  • Data, PostgreSQL, Redis
  • Messaging, Azure Service Bus, event driven patterns
  • Media, WebRTC, FFmpeg, RTSP, GStreamer, MediaMTX
  • AI compute, GPU containers, CUDA toolchains, model serving stacks

What success looks like

  • Prototypes turn into production systems without falling apart
  • The experience feels responsive, stable, and polished under real world conditions
  • On site deployments are predictable, diagnosable, and maintainable
  • You raise the bar for engineering quality while still moving fast

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, sick time, STD, LTD, vacation time, and paid holidays.
