System Administrator

System Administrator (m/f/d) – Münster, NRW
We're looking for a hands-on System Administrator to keep our IT infrastructure running smoothly and help us build for the future.
Your responsibilities:
You'll take ownership of our day-to-day IT operations – keeping servers, clients, networks and cloud services running reliably through proactive monitoring and maintenance. As the go-to person for user support, you'll handle patch management, troubleshooting and error analysis with a calm, structured approach.
Beyond the day-to-day, you'll plan and lead rollouts of new systems, applications and services – from resource and timeline planning through risk assessment, go-live and hypercare. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners, bridging the gap between technology and the wider organisation, and play an active role in shaping our IT strategy.
What you bring:
You have solid experience administering macOS and Windows 11 clients alongside Linux servers, and you're comfortable with virtualisation and container technologies like Proxmox, Docker and Kubernetes. You understand core networking concepts – routers, switches, VPN – and have worked with identity, device and access management platforms such as JumpCloud.
You've already dipped your toes into automation using tools like Python, Shell/Bash, JavaScript, Ansible or Jenkins, and experience with Google Cloud or Google Workspace is a bonus.
Above all, you have a strong hands-on mentality. You think analytically, work methodically, and keep solutions front of mind. You're comfortable with agile ways of working, curious about emerging technologies, and happy to look beyond the obvious.
A location close to Münster is preferred, though not a hard requirement. Fluency in both German and English – written and spoken – rounds out your profile.
Sounds like you? We'd love to hear from you.
