Office Manager / Operations Coordinator

About the Role
Dubuque Remodeling is growing—and we’re looking for someone who can help run the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving construction and property management business.
This is not a sit-back office job.
We need someone who:
- Works hard
- Communicates well

- Takes ownership and gets things done

Compensation
- $15–$20 per hour (based on experience and performance)
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Quarterly bonus potential based on company growth and performance
Schedule
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Some flexibility with start times
- Opportunity for work-from-home flexibility over time, based on trust and performance
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Daily Operations
- Answering phones and communicating with customers, tenants, and vendors
- Coordinating jobs, schedules, and follow-ups
- Keeping projects and communication organized
Communication & Coordination
- Working directly with the team to ensure jobs are moving forward
- Communicating updates, changes, and issues clearly
- Building relationships with customers and vendors
Problem Solving
- Handling issues as they come up
- Finding solutions quickly and efficiently
- Keeping things moving without constant oversight
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Big Plus)
- Experience creating construction proposals or estimates
- Familiarity with vendors in the Dubuque area
- Understanding of the construction or remodeling process
- Ability to learn and use new software/tools to improve operations
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel to local properties in the Dubuque area as needed
- Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Teams and other systems
- Strong organization and communication skills
