Your mission

• You will be responsible for the procurement of technical components, materials and related services
• You will manage existing suppliers and develop new ones in line with technical, quality and commercial requirements
• You will be responsible for defined product groups
• As the “single point of contact for the supplier”, you will oversee the entire procurement process, from the initial technical specification through to requests for quotation and delivery
• As a project buyer, you will manage the projects entrusted to you
• You will work closely with the Design, Project Management and Controlling departments
• You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring delivery dates and keeping track of costs
• Negotiating terms, comparing offers and awarding contracts whilst maintaining constant communication with all parties involved round off your remit

• You have a technical or commercial qualification or a university degree
• You have already gained professional experience in the procurement department of a manufacturing company
• You have a strong command of written and spoken English
• You are a go-getter and have that certain ‘presence’
• You are a team player with strong communication and negotiation skills
• You are willing to participate in internal training on information security. Basic knowledge of information security is an advantage
