Operations Coordinator

The world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service is looking for a Platform/Operations Coordinator to join the band in a consultant assignment. The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008.

Period: ASAP to 2026-12-31 (full-time), with a possibility of extension.

As part of our clients mission to unlock the potential of human creativity by giving a million creative artists the opportunity to live off their art and billions of fans the opportunity to enjoy and be inspired by these creators, they are providing a variety of products that enable developers all over the world to build outstanding experiences for consumers - search for and interact with content, create and manage playlists or play music or podcasts.

To support our clients efforts to create the best possible experience for our users and partners while maintaining a safe and secure platform, they are now looking for help reviewing requests for access and ensuring that any integration follows their Terms of Service. This will include the manual handling of cases based on existing guidelines, optimization of processes together with the Product teams, and interaction with other parts of the company like Legal, Business Development, and Licensing.

While the team have made progress in automating parts of the process using AI, manual reviews are still required for more complex cases, and they've a legal requirement to keep a human in the loop.

What you'll do

This is a cross-organizational coordination role that will manage the operational aspects of keeping the platform up and running and in a good state. This person will be responsible for the manual review process, run the exemption process, coordinate mission ownership mapping, and escalate enforcement decisions.

Responsibilities

• Proactively review and investigate the usage of the Developer Platform.
• Handle requests for platform access and take decisions based on existing guidelines – covering the complex cases which the AI automation can’t take a decision on.
• Detects patterns and common themes in those requests and other data points.
• Continue to develop and optimize processes for the existing review and investigation workflows.
• Ensure consistent and efficient handling of exemptions.
• Coordinate mission ownership across teams to avoid gaps and ambiguity.
• Manage the appeals process.

Who you are

• You have some technical background, e.g., studies in Information Technology or Information Systems or have had relevant work experience.
• You have experience with proactive investigation and research, categorizing data, and handling requests with limited guidelines.
• You have preferably worked in some sort of administrative or support role.
• You have some experience with data research, for example using SQL.
• You have an excellent command of the English language and good communication skills.
• You are self-driven and can navigate through ambiguity. You’re comfortable balancing multiple concurrent projects in an agile and fast-paced environment.
• You are truly a “do-er”, willing to get hands-on, solving any problems needed to help projects move forward.
• You are flexible, collaborative, and open-minded and thrive in a fast-changing environment.
• Should you have experience with legal or compliance matters this is a bonus.
