General Manager

General Manager – Contract Logistics | Dublin North

My client is seeking a General Manager to lead Contract Logistics Operations across it's sites based in North West Dublin.

Reporting to the Director of Operations Ireland, the successful candidate will oversee site operations, customer relationships, financial performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and people leadership within a fast-paced multi-user 3PL environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all site operations to ensure service excellence, efficiency, and profitability
• Manage customer relationships, contract performance, and commercial delivery
• Oversee site budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies
• Lead, develop, and motivate site management and operational teams
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, ISO, and company standards
• Collaborate with Business Development to support growth opportunities
• Maintain strong operational communication across all functions

Requirements

• Previous General Manager experience within logistics/3PL
• Experience managing large multi-user warehouse operations
• Strong commercial and financial management capability
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of warehouse systems and operational processes
• Continuous Improvement / Lean experience desirable
• IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications advantageous
