Seeking a President / Senior Executive Leader for a Well-Established Japanese Logistics Company
Seeking a President for a well-established Japanese logistics company affiliated with a global trading and investment group
Role Purpose:
The Senior Director will be trained to lead the organization in delivering high-quality, competitive logistics services to group-affiliated companies while transforming the business into a self-sustaining, profit-oriented enterprise with a growing external customer base.
This role requires a leader who can honor group values and governance standards while driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and organizational transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Business Leadership
- Develop and execute mid- to long-term corporate strategy
- Assume full P/L responsibility and achieve financial targets
- Lead digital transformation and operational efficiency initiatives
Shareholder & Stakeholder Management
- Strengthen collaboration with group-affiliated entities
- Align business direction with shareholder expectations
- Maintain transparent communication with domestic and overseas stakeholders
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Expand external customer portfolio and revenue streams
- Enhance market competitiveness and brand presence
- Build long-term relationships with key customers and partners
Organizational & Talent Leadership
- Develop executive and management talent
- Foster a performance-driven, values-based organizational culture
- Improve employee engagement, retention, and succession readiness
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Uphold high standards of integrity, ethics, and risk management

Required Experience:
- Senior executive leadership experience (VP level or above)
- Background in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or adjacent industries
- Proven P/L ownership and strategic planning capability
- Experience leading business transformation, restructuring, or new business development
- Demonstrated success in multicultural or cross-border environments
