Job Summary

Assists with the teaching of music and art of performing to a small or full group of students throughout the Marching Band season.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Organize, manage, teach, and supervise students in the art of body movement, dance, and field guard equipment including rifles, sabers, silks, swing flags, and other props.
  • Write and teach band front and color guard routines.
  • Plan and supervise rehearsals in conjunction with, and in addition to, rehearsals on the calendar issued by the director.
  • Assists other members of the band staff in teaching drill and supervising students at rehearsals and performances.

Education And Experience

  • Other education/experience as accepted by the school board and administration.
