Senior Card product manager
Indexed description
We're looking for a Senior Card Product Manager to own the end-to-end development and launch of crypto card products across multiple new markets (0→1), while driving growth of card products in existing markets. You'll lead partner integrations, navigate country-specific and global regulatory landscapes, and ship world-class card experiences - all within a fast-moving, globally distributed remote team.
This role demands a self-starter who thrives with autonomy, proactively identifies and solves problems, and is comfortable collaborating with colleagues across different time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the card product roadmap across multiple markets with key milestones, dependencies, and success metrics aligned to business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market landscapes and benchmark against competitors including fintechs; ensure product's competitive edge and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead the full product lifecycle - from discovery through development, launch, and continuous monitoring and iteration - ensuring product and business OKRs are met.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, QA, BD, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Growth, and Marketing to deliver on time in a fast-paced environment; align stakeholders on priorities, MVP scope, and phased rollout plans.
- Coordinate partner integrations across markets with BD and technical teams; review and interpret partner API documentation to assess feasibility and bridge business-engineering communication.
- Deliver detailed PRD requirements and interactive designs with considerations of edge-case coverage, technical feasibility and implementation plans.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and sequence diagrams to communicate product intent effectively.
- Design end-to-end card journeys - issuance, activation, authorization, top-up, rewards, campaigns, disputes - tailored to each market.
- Coordinate across time zones with clear communication, well-documented decisions, and thorough follow-through.
- Optimise product performance dashboard and KPIs tracking, perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, diagnose issues, and drive improvements using data and AI.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of card product management experience in card issuing; hands-on involvement launching card programs in multiple markets appreciated. 0→1 experience strongly preferred.
- Self-driven, proactive, and high-agency - identifies problems, proposes solutions, and drives them forward independently; with the aspiration to create and manage a best-in-class crypto card product.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment across multiple time zones; strong async communication and documentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management - able to influence without authority and align diverse teams.
- Proven ability to manage a card portfolio toward positive P&L and strong penetration among active users.
- Understanding of different card processes: authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, BIN management, tokenization, and card lifecycle.
- Good understanding of risk and card compliance frameworks, card scheme rules, and regulatory nuances across jurisdictions.
- Strong product design skills - wireframes, sequence diagrams, PRDs, and well-structured user stories.
- Able to read and interpret API documentation to evaluate integrations and communicate requirements to engineering.
- Comfortable with BI tools; SQL proficiency is a strong plus.
- Experience with virtual cards, Apple Pay / Google Pay tokenization, or card-as-a-service platforms.
- Familiarity with multi-currency wallets and cross-border payment flows.
- Familiarity with crypto/fintech ecosystems (on/off-ramp, stablecoin settlement, crypto-to-fiat).
- Prior experience at a crypto exchange, neobank, or embedded finance company.
