This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and executing the overall marketing vision within a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment focused on modernizing the insurance and annuity industry. The VP of Marketing will shape brand positioning, drive demand generation, and build scalable marketing systems that directly support revenue growth and customer engagement. This is a highly strategic yet hands-on leadership role, requiring the ability to operate at executive level while also guiding day-to-day execution. The position works closely with Sales, Product, and Customer teams to ensure unified go-to-market alignment. It demands strong storytelling, operational rigor, and a deep understanding of enterprise B2B marketing dynamics. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on measurable business impact and long-term scalability.

Accountabilities

    • Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives, revenue targets, and go-to-market priorities
    • Partner closely with Sales and Customer leadership to drive pipeline generation, account expansion, and customer engagement
    • Own brand strategy and positioning, ensuring consistency across messaging, content, digital presence, and customer touchpoints
    • Lead demand generation initiatives across inbound, outbound, account-based marketing, partner marketing, events, and digital channels
    • Oversee marketing operations including budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, analytics, and performance optimization
    • Translate product and company strategy into compelling market narratives and differentiated positioning
    • Lead development of content strategy, sales enablement materials, website direction, and customer communications
    • Act as a player-coach leader, guiding a lean team and external partners while also contributing directly to execution
    • Drive cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership teams
    • Establish scalable marketing processes, workflows, and operational discipline to support growth

    Requirements

      • 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally within enterprise software, insurtech, fintech, or regulated industries
      • Proven success leading both strategic marketing initiatives and hands-on execution in high-growth environments
      • Strong track record of partnering with Sales and Revenue teams to drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes
      • Deep expertise in demand generation, lifecycle marketing, account-based marketing, and brand development
      • Experience building and scaling marketing organizations with lean teams and limited resources
      • Strong operational and analytical mindset with experience managing budgets, KPIs, forecasting, and reporting
      • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and executive presentation skills
      • Experience leading brand strategy, creative direction, and multi-channel campaign execution
      • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across executive teams
      • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and modern marketing technology stacks
      • Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries is highly valued
