Talent Manager

This role is focused on driving strategic workforce planning, resource optimization, and talent development across multiple client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment. You will act as the central connector between delivery leadership, recruiting, and team members, ensuring the right people are aligned to the right projects at the right time. The position plays a critical role in balancing capacity and demand, improving utilization, and enabling high-quality delivery outcomes. You will also help shape talent development frameworks that support employee growth, retention, and long-term capability building. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing workforce allocation, improving operational efficiency, and supporting talent development across delivery teams while ensuring alignment with business priorities.

• Own end-to-end resource allocation across projects to ensure alignment between demand, capacity, and delivery needs
• Partner with delivery and leadership teams to forecast staffing requirements and proactively identify gaps or risks
• Monitor utilization, capacity, and allocation trends to optimize performance and reduce inefficiencies
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to define hiring priorities and support onboarding strategies
• Develop and implement scalable processes for resource management and workforce planning
• Establish and track KPIs related to utilization, capacity, and delivery effectiveness
• Identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvements across teams
• Support talent development initiatives, including career pathing, upskilling, and performance support
• Act as a key partner in cross-functional planning discussions, providing data-driven insights and recommendations
• Identify and mitigate risks related to staffing delays, capacity constraints, and shifting business demand

Requirements:

This role requires strong experience in resource management, workforce planning, or talent operations, along with the ability to balance business priorities in a fast-moving consulting or services environment.

• Experience in resource management, workforce planning, talent operations, or similar roles in consulting, agency, or services environments
• Strong understanding of utilization, capacity planning, and delivery models
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and make effective staffing decisions under pressure
• Experience working closely with delivery, recruiting, and leadership stakeholders
• Strong communication and influencing skills across multiple organizational levels
• Experience supporting or mentoring team members and contributing to talent development initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using KPIs and operational metrics
• Ability to design or improve operational processes and workflows
• Comfort working in Agile or fast-paced delivery environments is a plus
• Experience partnering with HR or Talent Acquisition teams and using workforce planning tools is preferred
