Accountabilities:
- Support customer projects through software development, system design, product implementation, and integration of third-party equipment into advanced automation platforms.
- Develop, configure, and troubleshoot industrial automation solutions involving PLCs, embedded systems, motion control, and PC-based automation technologies.
- Collaborate with customer engineering teams to guide implementation efforts, provide technical mentorship, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques and engineering best practices.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal product management and professional development teams to support technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to large-scale engineering projects while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining high-quality technical execution.
- Assist in developing tools, workflows, and processes that improve engineering efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Travel to customer locations as needed to support implementation, training, commissioning, and technical problem-solving activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- 4–6 years of experience in industrial systems design, automation engineering, or application-level engineering solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, embedded systems, and PC-based automation platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in software development, systems integration, and troubleshooting within industrial automation environments.
- Ability to manage multiple technical priorities and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and customer organizations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Proven success in customer-facing engineering roles and large-scale project environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% nationally as required.
- Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $175,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
