Senior Software Developer

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives at the intersection of software development, developer experience, and AI-driven productivity. You will design and build internal platforms and tools that improve how product managers, designers, and engineers collaborate across the entire product development lifecycle. Operating in a highly collaborative, global environment, you will work closely with teams across India, the UK, and North America to eliminate friction and accelerate software delivery. A strong focus of the role is leveraging AI, automation, and modern engineering practices to scale engineering efficiency and impact. You will also play a key role in shaping internal systems, improving CI/CD pipelines, and building workflows that enhance developer velocity. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your work directly improves how teams build and ship products at scale.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling internal developer tools and platforms that improve the end-to-end product development lifecycle, with a strong focus on automation, AI integration, and engineering efficiency. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify friction points and create scalable solutions that enhance productivity and collaboration.

• Build and evolve internal tools and platforms that streamline software delivery across product, design, and engineering teams
• Develop AI-powered workflows and automation solutions to improve developer experience and reduce manual effort
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and deployment workflows to accelerate delivery cycles
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and translate them into technical solutions
• Measure and track engineering productivity metrics such as cycle time, deployment frequency, and system efficiency
• Experiment with emerging tools, APIs, and AI systems to continuously improve developer workflows
• Champion best practices in developer experience, system design, and scalable engineering systems

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering experience combined with a passion for improving developer workflows and building internal platforms. You are comfortable working across backend systems, automation tools, and modern AI-assisted development environments.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering roles
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or similar)
• Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, or workflow automation systems
• Deep understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and cross-functional collaboration
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, build tooling, and deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with AI development tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar systems
• Experience working with engineering metrics and using data to improve workflows
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams without direct authority
• Experience with DevEx, SRE, or infrastructure engineering is a plus
