Senior Product Manager, ML Signals

As a senior product leader, you will drive the strategy, development, and adoption of foundational ML signals used to improve personalization, content quality, safety, and user engagement across multiple digital experiences. Accountabilities:

• Define and execute the long-term roadmap for foundational machine learning signals related to content understanding, quality, topicality, and safety.
• Partner closely with machine learning engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to develop scalable multimodal content intelligence systems across text, image, and video.
• Drive adoption of ML-powered signals across multiple product areas, including personalization, search, advertising, recommendations, and platform safety initiatives.
• Establish standardized success metrics, governance frameworks, and quality definitions to ensure consistent interpretation and usage of content signals organization-wide.
• Lead data strategy initiatives focused on high-quality training datasets, human-in-the-loop workflows, automated evaluations, and AI-assisted labeling methodologies.
• Monitor signal performance, accuracy, precision, recall, and business impact while translating technical outcomes into measurable product and growth improvements.
• Navigate complex product, engineering, and policy tradeoffs to balance user experience, platform integrity, and business objectives.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams while influencing long-term platform strategy and roadmap alignment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience focused on machine learning, AI, NLP, or platform-based products.
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact products that generated measurable business and user outcomes.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including data collection, feature engineering, model evaluation, deployment, and optimization.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI technologies such as embeddings, classifiers, ranking systems, large language models (LLMs), and automated evaluation frameworks.
• Experience working with scalable ML signal systems, data curation pipelines, and LLM-assisted evaluation methodologies.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to independently derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to simplify technical complexity into clear product strategies and requirements.
• Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, data science, product, and policy teams.
• Ability to prioritize initiatives effectively and lead projects from early concept through execution and large-scale adoption.
• Background in Data Science, Engineering, or hands-on technical development is considered a strong plus.
• Active interest in the latest AI and machine learning research trends and emerging technologies is highly valued.
