This role serves as a strategic partner to large, complex employer clients, driving measurable impact across clinical outcomes, financial performance, and employee experience within a highly specialized healthcare ecosystem. You will own senior-level relationships and act as the primary advisor to key decision-makers, helping shape long-term benefits strategies that align with organizational goals. The position blends consultative client leadership, data-driven storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration across clinical, product, and operational teams. You will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and expansion while navigating complex stakeholder environments. Working in a fast-evolving healthcare benefits landscape, you will translate insights into actionable strategies that improve engagement, reduce costs, and elevate care delivery. This is a high-impact, remote-based role with significant executive visibility and frequent client engagement.
Accountabilities
You will be responsible for leading strategic client relationships and ensuring long-term value realization across a portfolio of high-value employer accounts:
- Own and manage relationships with large, complex employer clients, serving as their primary strategic advisor.
- Build and maintain executive-level partnerships with CHROs, CFOs, benefits leaders, and external consultants.
- Lead QBRs, business reviews, renewal discussions, and multi-year strategic planning sessions.
- Translate utilization, engagement, and clinical data into clear ROI narratives and workforce impact insights.
- Drive client retention and growth by identifying expansion opportunities across solutions and services.
- Proactively identify risks to account health and implement mitigation strategies.
- Guide benefit optimization initiatives including program enhancements, coverage design, and product expansion.
- Act as the escalation point for high-priority client issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, clinical, product, operations) to align client needs with organizational priorities.
- Deliver executive-level reporting, insights, and storytelling to support data-driven client decisions.
- Maintain accurate account documentation, strategic roadmaps, and client success plans.
- 8–12+ years of experience in client success, strategic account management, consulting, or healthcare benefits.
- Proven experience managing large enterprise or complex employer clients.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze utilization, cost, and ROI metrics.
- Excellent executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong data storytelling skills, translating analytics into actionable business insights.
- Deep understanding of the employer benefits ecosystem (preferred).
- Experience driving retention, renewal, and account growth outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving, relationship management, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments effectively.
- Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced, and highly collaborative setting.
- Remote-based role with approximately 40% travel
