This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Operations Sourcing Manager, Data Center in United States.

This is a high-impact operations and sourcing role at the center of large-scale data center infrastructure execution. You will be responsible for ensuring that critical hardware components—including compute, networking, racks, cabling, and mechanical systems—are sourced, delivered, and deployed in alignment with aggressive infrastructure timelines. Acting as a key connector between engineering, supply chain, finance, and external suppliers, you will drive end-to-end sourcing operations across a complex global ecosystem. The role combines strategic procurement leadership with hands-on operational execution, requiring strong ownership of supplier performance, commercial negotiations, and delivery outcomes. You will help ensure that infrastructure programs remain on track by resolving supply constraints, optimizing lead times, and enabling scalable sourcing workflows. This position is ideal for a highly operational leader who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys solving complex, cross-functional supply challenges at scale.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead end-to-end sourcing operations across data center hardware categories including compute, networking, racks, mechanical systems, and cabling, ensuring timely procurement and delivery.
    • Manage supplier engagement, including negotiations, commercial agreements, and ongoing performance monitoring to ensure alignment with deployment schedules.
    • Own supplier operational cadence, including scorecards, business reviews, capacity tracking, and performance optimization.
    • Drive competitive sourcing processes such as RFQs, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and deal execution across multiple hardware categories.
    • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and deployment teams to resolve supply constraints, manage trade-offs, and maintain program timelines.
    • Develop and maintain structured sourcing workflows and reporting systems, including benchmarking, contract analysis, and supplier performance insights.
    • Produce operational reporting artifacts such as deal memos, supplier reviews, and executive updates to support decision-making and program execution.
    • Identify and mitigate risks across the supply chain, proactively addressing lead time issues, shortages, and supplier disruptions.

    Requirements:

      • 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain operations, or hardware program management.
      • Strong experience working across multiple hardware categories such as compute, networking, and data center infrastructure components.
      • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee end-to-end sourcing processes.
      • Strong operational discipline with experience managing supplier performance, lead times, and execution escalations.
      • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and bring structure to complex, undefined operational challenges.
      • Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to influence engineering, finance, and external partners without direct authority.
      • Strong analytical and written communication skills, with experience producing executive-ready documentation and reporting.
      • Experience working with OEMs, ODMs, integrators, or large-scale infrastructure suppliers is highly valuable.
      • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

      Benefits:

        • Competitive annual salary ranging from $270,000 to $290,000 USD.
        • Equity-based compensation opportunities (where applicable).
        • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
        • Flexible work arrangements with a hybrid model (minimum 25% in-office presence).
        • Generous paid time off, parental leave, and holiday policies.
        • Visa sponsorship support for eligible candidates.
        • Opportunities to work on large-scale, mission-critical AI infrastructure projects.
        • Collaborative, high-performance environment focused on innovation and impact.
        • Exposure to cutting-edge data center technologies and global supply chain ecosystems.
