You will work cross-functionally with development, QA, operations, and client-facing teams to improve release quality, minimize risks, and drive operational excellence. The position also offers the chance to leverage AI-powered tools and modern workflows to optimize release management practices and improve team efficiency. Ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for process improvement, this role combines technical coordination, people management, and strategic impact within a remote-first culture focused on innovation and continuous learning.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Release Coordinators, providing coaching, performance management, workload balancing, and professional development support.
    • Oversee end-to-end release planning and scheduling, coordinating timelines, dependencies, testing activities, and deployment readiness across multiple stakeholders.
    • Facilitate collaboration between development, QA, infrastructure, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure smooth release execution and clear communication throughout the lifecycle.
    • Manage release risks by identifying potential issues early, developing contingency plans, and ensuring escalation procedures are followed when needed.
    • Supervise testing coordination activities, including regression testing, UAT, issue tracking, validation, and release quality assurance.
    • Ensure all release documentation, runbooks, checklists, SOPs, and stakeholder communications are accurate, accessible, and continuously updated.
    • Monitor post-release stability, oversee incident resolution, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance release processes and operational efficiency.
    • Promote adoption of AI-assisted tools and automation solutions to improve release coordination, reporting, testing coverage, and deployment accuracy.

    Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
      • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience within software delivery, release management, or operational coordination environments.
      • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
      • Experience coordinating software releases, deployments, testing activities, and cross-functional project workflows.
      • Familiarity with release management tools and collaboration platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
      • Understanding of banking or financial services operations, particularly in areas such as deposits, loans, general ledger, or back-office operations, is preferred.
      • Experience or familiarity with AI productivity tools, automated testing solutions, AI-powered monitoring platforms, or related technologies.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment while maintaining attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
      • Flexibility to support occasional travel and off-hours release activities when required.

      Benefits:

        • Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000
        • Annual cash bonus opportunities and equity options
        • Fully remote work environment
        • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
        • 401(k) retirement savings plan
        • Flexible paid time off policy
        • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI-enabled workflows and technologies
        • Collaborative and innovation-focused company culture
        • Professional growth and leadership development opportunities.
