Accountabilities:

• Define and align long-term R&D and technology strategies with overall business objectives and corporate growth priorities.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, disruptive technologies, and competitive threats to guide innovation direction.
• Oversee R&D portfolio management, balancing short-term product improvements with long-term, high-risk innovation initiatives.
• Act as a bridge between engineering, business units, customers, and external partners to translate market needs into technical solutions.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve development efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and enhance product execution.
• Promote IP reuse strategies and optimize technology integration across multiple business units and product lines.
• Lead technology and market intelligence efforts by continuously monitoring industry trends and advancements.
• Contribute to thought leadership through publications, white papers, presentations, and patent development.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent across the organization to strengthen technical capabilities and innovation culture.
• Support strategic decision-making by evaluating technical feasibility, business value, and risk across R&D initiatives.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor devices and industrial semiconductor technology or related fields.
• Extensive experience in new product research and development across multiple technical domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of driving innovation, defining technical strategy, and delivering complex R&D programs.
• Strong ability to evaluate emerging technologies for commercial and technical applicability.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to balance engineering trade-offs, business value, and risk.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
