This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and scaling a strategic executive recruiting and talent intelligence function from the ground up. The position sits at the intersection of executive search, market intelligence, and strategic workforce planning, with a focus on identifying world-class leadership talent across VP, SVP, and C-suite levels. You will operate as a trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping how critical leadership hires are defined, sourced, and closed. The role requires deep network strength within high-growth fintech and institutional finance ecosystems, combined with a data-driven and technology-forward approach to executive search. You will also build the operating model, tools, and governance for a scalable, modern executive recruiting function. This is a highly visible position with direct influence on company leadership decisions and long-term organizational design.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead the design and execution of a global executive recruiting and talent intelligence strategy, covering VP, SVP, and C-suite hiring across all key business functions.
    • Build and maintain deep market intelligence across fintech and institutional finance ecosystems, proactively mapping founders, operators, and high-impact talent pipelines.
    • Drive end-to-end executive search processes, including intake, market mapping, outreach, assessment, and offer negotiation for senior leadership roles.
    • Establish and manage a scalable executive search operating model, including agency strategy, governance, tooling, and internal workflows.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, providing insights on talent markets, succession planning, and organizational design.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external networks including VC firms, venture studios, and senior leadership communities.
    • Partner cross-functionally with People, Finance, and business leaders to ensure aligned hiring strategies and consistent executive hiring standards.

    Requirements:

      • 12+ years of experience in executive or senior-level recruiting, ideally within in-house TA, retained search, or a hybrid environment.
      • Proven success leading VP-level and above searches across multiple functions such as Engineering, Product, GTM, and Finance.
      • Strong existing network within fintech, venture-backed, or institutional finance ecosystems, particularly within high-growth hubs such as NYC.
      • Demonstrated ability to build or significantly scale executive recruiting or talent intelligence functions, including operating model design and agency management.
      • Deep fluency in talent intelligence, market mapping, and data-driven recruiting strategies, supported by strong analytical capabilities.
      • Strong executive presence with proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and advise on strategic hiring decisions.
      • Experience leveraging AI-powered recruiting tools, ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday), and modern sourcing technologies.
      • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.
