This senior leadership role sits at the heart of an experiential agency, shaping how brands connect with audiences through immersive, emotionally resonant experiences.
You will define and guide strategic direction across live events, activations, conferences, pop-ups, and integrated experiential campaigns.
Working closely with creative, production, and account teams, you will ensure strategy is seamlessly embedded throughout fast-moving, cross-functional project environments.
The role combines high-level thinking with hands-on leadership, requiring the ability to translate cultural insight and business goals into clear, compelling narratives.
You will also play a key role in mentoring strategy talent, strengthening team capabilities, and improving operational clarity across projects and resourcing.
This is a highly collaborative and influential position where strategic thinking directly shapes client impact, creative execution, and measurable business outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the development of experiential strategy across RFPs, events, conferences, pop-ups, brand activations, and integrated campaigns.
- Manage and mentor a team of creative strategists, supporting both their daily work and long-term professional growth.
- Translate business objectives, audience insights, cultural trends, and brand challenges into clear, actionable strategic direction.
- Build compelling strategic narratives that strengthen pitches, client presentations, and new business opportunities.
- Oversee strategy resourcing, including staffing, workload allocation, and freelance support as needed.
- Partner closely with creative, production, accounts, and leadership teams to ensure seamless integration of strategy into execution.
- Identify workflow gaps and improve operational efficiency within the strategy function.
- Serve as a senior client-facing strategic lead, guiding discussions and ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Support measurement frameworks and help translate experiential performance data into actionable insights.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and ensure strategy acts as a connective force across the organization.
- 8+ years of experience in experiential strategy, brand strategy, creative strategy, or related agency/brand roles.
- Strong background in experiential marketing including live events, activations, conferences, pop-ups, and immersive environments.
- Proven ability to translate cultural, behavioral, and business insights into strategic frameworks.
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments where strategy, creative, and production evolve simultaneously.
- Strong client-facing experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead presentations.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
- Experience with experiential measurement, ROI frameworks, and post-event reporting.
- Fluency in strategic tools and AI-assisted research or synthesis is a plus.
- Ability to balance structure and flexibility while managing ambiguity and tight timelines.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities within strategy or planning teams.
- Competitive salary ranging from 150,000 USD to 175,000 USD depending on experience and qualifications.
