This role plays a key part in supporting the successful execution of a large-scale national program focused on transition assistance and readiness services for service members. You will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure operational excellence across multiple locations, maintaining compliance with contractual requirements and performance standards. The position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to oversee program quality and continuous improvement initiatives. You will help ensure that eligible participants receive accurate information on available benefits and services while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of program delivery. Acting as a critical liaison across teams, you will support training, communication, and stakeholder engagement efforts. This is a mission-driven role with meaningful impact on military, federal, and civilian support services.
Accountabilities:
- Support the Program Manager in overseeing day-to-day program operations across multiple locations to ensure full task order compliance and service quality.
- Monitor operational performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, identifying gaps and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote continuous improvement by analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending streamlined solutions.
- Facilitate communication of lessons learned and best practices across program sites to improve consistency and effectiveness.
- Assist in coordinating training events, conferences, and stakeholder engagements to stay aligned with policy updates and program requirements.
- Provide leadership support and serve as Acting Program Manager when required.
- Ensure operational environments (virtual and in-person) meet safety, accessibility, and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, behavioral/social sciences, human resources, education, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in program management, operations oversight, or similar roles in structured service environments.
- Strong knowledge of transition assistance programs, family readiness initiatives, or related government support services is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and operational guidelines accurately.
- U.S. citizenship required, along with the ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary clearances.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to operate rental vehicles as needed.
- Master’s degree and experience using structured training methodologies (e.g., ADDIE) preferred.
- Competitive annual salary range of $120,000 – $135,000.
