This role sits at the intersection of hands-on data center operations and technical learning design, ensuring that training materials accurately reflect real-world infrastructure environments. You will draw on your experience with electrical, mechanical, and monitoring systems to validate and improve training content used by technicians across multiple sites. Working closely with operations, engineering, and learning teams, you will help translate complex operational realities into clear, usable learning materials. Your work will directly influence technician readiness, operational safety, and consistency across critical facilities. The environment is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and deeply focused on reliability and excellence. This position is ideal for someone who has worked inside data centers and now wants to shape how others are trained to operate them effectively.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will ensure technical training content reflects real operational practices and supports consistent, safe, and high-quality data center performance. You will review, validate, and enhance learning materials while collaborating across multiple technical and operational teams to maintain accuracy and relevance.

    • Review training scripts, lesson plans, and sequence of operations (SOO) documentation to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with operational procedures
    • Validate assessments to confirm they properly measure technician competency and readiness across role levels
    • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and outdated content within training libraries and support continuous content improvement
    • Partner with operations, engineering, and learning teams to align training materials with business and operational objectives
    • Review vendor documentation and technical updates to assess impact on operations and training requirements
    • Provide clear, actionable feedback on technical content for both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Support standardization of training materials across sites while accommodating site-specific operational needs

    Requirements

This position requires strong hands-on data center experience combined with the ability to translate complex technical systems into clear, structured training content. You should be comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, and monitoring systems while engaging with diverse stakeholders.

      • Hands-on experience as a data center technician in hyperscale, enterprise, or colocation environments
      • Strong understanding of electrical distribution, mechanical cooling systems, and critical infrastructure monitoring systems
      • Knowledge of sequence of operations (SOO), system design, and data center operational best practices
      • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical learning materials
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver constructive feedback
      • Collaborative mindset with comfort engaging technicians, engineers, vendors, and leadership teams
      • Detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational governance
      • Experience reviewing technical documentation or training materials is a plus

      Benefits

        • Competitive hourly compensation ($40–$52/hour, depending on experience and location)
        • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
        • 401(k) retirement plan with company support
        • Paid time off and paid holidays
        • Opportunity to work in a high-growth, innovation-driven critical infrastructure environment
        • Exposure to advanced data center operations across multiple sites in the United States
        • Travel opportunities (approximately 30–40%) to data center locations nationwide
        • Inclusive workplace culture focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence
